The Ford Racing Festival was created to offer the public a chance to celebrate Nascar weekend in Montreal away from the track. The event featured unique, authentic race cars on display, various promotions and giveaways, and live music every night. Additionally, a number of other innovative activities were introduced including, the crowd pleasing Pit Stop Challenge, where the public was invited to test their tire changing skills on a genuine racing vehicle.
